Summer Abroad was inspired by Lindsey Rae, the face behind the amazing Aussie indie pattern company Sew to Grow.
Her first trip to Europe had days were filled with strolls through castle gardens, exploring winding cobblestone streets, visits to quirky seaside cafes, and sipping
Aperol Spritz while overlooking the Austrian Alps.
This collection is my attempt to capture those magical experiences, presenting them with the bright and bold richness of the places she visited on her journey.

This stunning cotton jersey is a knit fabric with a touch of spandex that gives the fabric excellent stretch qualities.
It is comfortable, soft and stretchy with great drape, and suitable for a wide variety of sewing projects including t-shirts, dresses, pants and tops.
The fabric’s breathability and ability to hold its shape make it a favoured option for casual, comfortable garments and the ideal choice for active wear.
To sew jersey use a 75/11 or 80/12 ballpoint needle and a polyester thread. A stretch or zigzag stitch will maintain flexibility.
Prewash cotton jersey to avoid shrinkage. Wash in cool or cold water with a mild detergent and dry naturally
