Her first trip to Europe had days were filled with strolls through castle gardens, exploring winding cobblestone streets, visits to quirky seaside cafes, and sipping
Aperol Spritz while overlooking the Austrian Alps.
This collection is my attempt to capture those magical experiences, presenting them with the bright and bold richness of the places she visited on her journey.
Drill has a twill weave which makes it a very strong, dense medium to heavy weight fabric that is robust fabric and easy to maintain.
The twill weave means it has characteristic diagonal lines on the fabric which adds an interesting texture. It’s a popular choice for both tailored and casual garments like jackets and pants, as well as bags, children’s wear and home furnishings.
To sew cotton drill use a 90/14 needle and cotton or all-purpose thread. When cutting pay close attention to the grainline. Prewash cotton drill to avoid shrinkage. Wash in cool or cold water with a mild detergent and dry naturally
