MODEL GARMENT SIZES - Amber (red stripe top, blue funnel neck top & stripe dress) wears a pattern size 2 (UK 8). Abi (mustard funnel neck & floral dress) wears a pattern size 13 (UK 30) at the bust, graded to a 14 (UK 32) at the waist and 15 (UK 34) at the hip.

• Ribbon or stay tape – 30cm (12in) x 6-8mm (¼in) wide

• Ballpoint or stretch needle for your sewing machine

• Sewing machine or overlocker (serger) and basic tools (a walking foot can be helpful if you're using a regular sewing machine)

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS

Medium weight knit fabrics with little stretch. Look out for ponte di roma, double knit or interlock. The boat neck top also works well in low stretch jersey.
